One of the hardest parts of the adoption journey is wrestling with rejection, silence, or the feeling that no one understands. I’ve been there.
Now, I offer faith-rooted, trauma-informed coaching to help adult adoptees heal from shame, reclaim their identity, and live with peace and purpose.
Let myou what it's like to be free.
Let me tell you what it's like to be free.
Although we reunited, I still felt fragmented. The puzzle of my identity did not fall into place.
Instead, I experienced true freedom and wholeness when I learned to see myself as Christ sees me. After linking arms with other adoptees on this journey, these truths resonated with me:
I am known by Him and He calls me His own (Isaiah 43:1).
I am empowered when I share my story (Proverbs 27:17).
Sharing my testimony gives other adoptees the freedom to share their own (Romans 1: 11-12).
After discovering that I was adopted, my identity felt like a huge question mark. Over time, people-pleasing behaviors that began as an innocent quest for affirmation spiraled into self-sabotaging habits that constantly derailed me from God’s will for my life.
Finding truth in God's word helped me realize that I could shift from pursuing the acceptance of others by believing that God already accepts me.

“She and her ministry have helped me to develop spiritually by helping me see the woman that God has truly created me to be. Iris is a bright light in this world and she consistently challenges us to think beyond what we see and to press into God's reality for us. She is a fierce advocate for those who are hurting and I can say that she is truly a Sister in Christ and in helping serve in the adoptee community. ”
